St. Charles - JUNE 9-12 | Wentzville - June 23-26

Vacation Bible School reaches kids with the gospel! VBS reaches kids in our community and kids within our church. It’s a focused week of intentional teaching of foundational biblical truth. Every day of VBS we invite children to respond to the Gospel.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

VBS brings church-wide involvement! Multiple generations come together to serve and to make disciples of Jesus Christ!
One generation will declare your works to the next and will proclaim your mighty acts.” Psalm 145:4

This year’s theme is: Made to Magnify God! We will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!
“Proclaim the Lord’s greatness with me; let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:3

To ensure room for Wentzville campus families and their community, we kindly ask that our St. Charles Campus families plan to attend VBS at the St. Charles campus.

We currently have a $10 per child fee with a family cap of $40. This fee helps offset our cost of supplies. We also feel the minimal cost helps add value to this event. It alleviates people registering their child and not attending, where we would have purchased unneeded supplies for the child. Scholarships are available upon request.

All kids have a large-group rally session where the theme is introduced in exciting ways and worship music takes place. (For elementary kids, this is the very first part of their day.) Kids also rotate through small groups, recreation, missions, snacks, and crafts. Preschoolers also have a music rotation.

Elementary kids are dropped off in the Worship Center, where each class is clearly labeled. Preschool children are dropped off in their specified classroom, located downstairs. Classroom assignments will be shared the week before VBS begins.

Yes! We ask that you check in at the guest desk for your child's grade and wear a guest badge for that day.

The volunteers serving during the week of VBS have gone through a background check and our VBS training event(s). Many volunteers serve regularly in our Sunday morning ministry, so your child will likely see many familiar faces!

You have the opportunity to enter any medical allergies or concerns when you register your child for VBS. This information will be readily available to small group volunteers, as well as the kitchen staff. Your child will also have a colored sticker to wear next to his/her name tag to further alert the volunteers to any special needs. Allergen-friendly options will be provided.

We have a nurse on-site during our week of VBS for any medical needs that arise. We also have emergency procedures in place should anything unexpected take place.

You will be given a pick-up card the first day you drop off your child. Please have that card ready at pick-up. Elementary students are dismissed from the Worship Center; preschool children are dismissed from their classrooms. If you lose your card or if another person is picking up your child who doesn't have the card, please go to the guest desk in the lobby for a temporary card. Persons authorized to pick-up your child are noted on your child's registration form. A driver's license will need to be shown to the registration volunteer at the guest desk.

We love to have friends join us for VBS! If the friend is one grade-level different from your child, we ask that the friend registers for the same grade as your child in order to stay together. If there is more than one grade separating the friend and your child, we ask that they register for their own grade level. We would hope that all newcomers make new relationships during the week of VBS and begin to attend on Sunday mornings. If visitors register at their own grade level, they will meet others the same age that they will see again on Sunday mornings.
