Make Room: The next chapter at Waypoint Wentzville
Two years ago, we began praying about launching a new Waypoint campus plant in Wentzville—and from day one, God has been moving! At the end of 2023 we began to build a core group of faithful disciples from our St. Charles campus. We spent all of 2024 prayer walking, serving our community, making disciples, and building community. And in October of last year, we officially launched Waypoint Wentzville!
The Bible says in Deuteronomy 31:8 that He goes before us, and in just six months since launch, we’ve seen His hand at work in powerful ways! Lives have been changed, baptisms celebrated, and over 300 people are now gathering weekly.
We praise God for all that He has done in such a short amount of time! But now it’s time to take another bold step of faith.
I’m excited to announce we’re launching Make Room—a giving campaign that will help us to prepare for and steward the incredible growth God is bringing.
This includes:
• Purchasing 4 acres of adjacent land (This would give us nearly 10 acres total!)
• Expanding parking and additional space to build on in the future
• Transitioning from pews to chairs in order to have more flexibility in our seating and more ministry opportunities to serve our community
• Launching a student midweek service as well as live streaming on Sundays
Ultimately, Make Room isn’t about paint or property—it’s about people.
• Making room for the lost to be found.
• Making room for families to encounter Christ.
• Making room for future pastors and planters to be sent out.
So, Waypoint Wentzville, let’s Make Room—for the next soul, the next story, and let’s take the next step in God’s glory as He continues to build His church in Wentzville!
