Make Room: The next chapter at Waypoint Wentzville

Two years ago, we began praying about launching a new Waypoint campus plant in Wentzville—and from day one, God has been moving! At the end of 2023 we began to build a core group of faithful disciples from our St. Charles campus. We spent all of 2024 prayer walking, serving our community, making disciples, and building community. And in October of last year, we officially launched Waypoint Wentzville!

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 31:8 that He goes before us, and in just six months since launch, we’ve seen His hand at work in powerful ways! Lives have been changed, baptisms celebrated, and over 300 people are now gathering weekly.

We praise God for all that He has done in such a short amount of time! But now it’s time to take another bold step of faith.

I’m excited to announce we’re launching Make Room—a giving campaign that will help us to prepare for and steward the incredible growth God is bringing.

This includes:
• Purchasing 4 acres of adjacent land (This would give us nearly 10 acres total!)
• Expanding parking and additional space to build on in the future
• Transitioning from pews to chairs in order to have more flexibility in our seating and more ministry opportunities to serve our community
• Launching a student midweek service as well as live streaming on Sundays

Ultimately, Make Room isn’t about paint or property—it’s about people.
• Making room for the lost to be found.
• Making room for families to encounter Christ.
• Making room for future pastors and planters to be sent out.

So, Waypoint Wentzville, let’s Make Room—for the next soul, the next story, and let’s take the next step in God’s glory as He continues to build His church in Wentzville!

Frequently Asked Questions

We are quickly outgrowing our current building. Acquiring this land would give us a unique opportunity to lay down deep roots on our current property with room in the future to build and increase our parking, instead of having to potentially look elsewhere into the future. Our leadership believes that in the Lord’s kindness we have been presented a unique opportunity for future expansion where we have already been visible directly off the HWY and impacting our community for the first six months of our existence.

Also, Wentzville is the fastest growing community in our state and one of the fastest growing in America. With this growth, prices of land will only continue to rise. We see this as an opportunity to get out ahead of potential future exuberent land prices.

In regards to the additional projects, we believe now is the time to act, in order to adequately prepare for the increase of people we are trusting in the Lord to bring to WW.

We are prayerfully asking the Lord to raise $500k through the people of Waypoint Wentzville.

  • Contribute to the purchasing of the land
  • Future parking lot
  • Residency Program for future church planters and pastors
  • 300 chairs, new carpet, along with other improvements for the worship center.

Projects will vary. However, we anticipate the modifications to our current building as well as technology installations would begin as early as this summer and into the Fall and be completed by the end of 2025 at the latest.

It won’t. It is our desire that Make Room does not replace your regular giving patterns but is in addition and above and beyond to your regular tithe as the Lord would lead you to cheerfully give. (2 Cor. 9:7-9)

We say it all of the time at Waypoint, “we don’t just pray for the work, prayer IS the work.” So, please pray! We will be sending out prayer prompts that you can place on your calendar as well as designated prayer times moving forward that we will gather to pray specifically for this campaign and the goals.
