About this Event
Waypoint Students Mission Trip
Waypoint Students Summer Mission Trip to Utah | July 19-24
This summer, high schoolers of Waypoint Students will get the opportunity to go on mission in Utah.
The goal of this trip is to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by supporting a local church in the Salt Lake City area.
Mosaic Church is excited to be partnering with us on this trip while in Utah. Their goal is to engage a prominent
Mormon culture with the gospel.
We will be supporting the mission through:
- Canvassing
- Helping with church projects
- Planning and executing a local outreach event with Mosaic Church
- Prayer walking through the local neighborhoods
We are excited about how God is moving through Mosaic Church and the Salt Lake City area and are eager to join them in
building God’s Kingdom.
Training & Preparation
To get ready for this trip and to better understand the Mormon culture we will be engaging, there will be several
required training sessions.
Austin Najar will be leading these training sessions. Austin is a former Mormon who has been radically transformed
by Christ. In these trainings, Austin will help the group understand Mormonism and how we should engage with Mormons theologically.
