We all have defining moments in life – times of celebration, challenging circumstances, relational pain, and transitional seasons. How we respond during these times has a direct impact on our future. The care ministry provides a network of ministries and classes to find gospel-centered help, hope, and victory.
Many couples will spend several hours planning and preparing for a wedding but negate taking time to prepare for a strong marriage. Because of this, we offer a class for engaged couples called “Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts”. (SYMBIS) is a 7-week class or a Weekend Retreat format for engaged couples (man and woman) that address seven key questions to help couples identify and overcome stumbling blocks to building a healthy, lifelong marriage.
Great marriages don’t just happen, and we don’t want you to move from the excitement of being “Just Married”, to the mundane “Just Married.” God’s design is for your marriage to thrive and we want to encourage you to pursue that in our 8-week class called “Marriage Oneness”. Marriage Oneness equips couples to grow in true intimacy, connection, and purpose by looking at Biblical principles with application exercises to complete together on date nights. Each couple will be a part of small-group discussion covering topics like Communication, Conflict Resolution, Spiritual Beliefs, Money, Sexual Intimacy and Roles & Responsibilities.
Healing from divorce is not easy, and it can be a long and painful process. DivorceCare is a 13-week recovery support group that combines personal study with video seminars in a friendly, caring group setting. We will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You will learn how to heal from the deep hurt of divorce and discover hope for your future. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.
Recovery Care (STEPS)
Admitting that we are broken and need help isn’t easy. In fact, everything within us wants us to believe we are better than we really are. STEPS is a 14-week recovery and reconciliation ministry that meets on Sunday nights from 5:30-7:30. During STEPS, participants will meet for small group discussion and a large group video teaching. During the week, participants will engage in daily reflections and meet weekly with a mentor who has gone through STEPS themselves, for one-on-one focused discussion, prayer, and encouragement. Don’t buy the lie that you can ‘fix this’ on your own.
Our goal in the counseling ministry is to connect our members and our community friends to the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. We are confident that through the Scriptures and the power of His Spirit, God has given us everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3-4). It is our joy to help real people, with real problems using the Bible.
Our vision is larger than a few one-on-one meetings with a counselor. Rarely does lasting change happen in isolation. As a part of counseling, we will likely encourage you to be involved in the life of our church in a variety of ways as we walk together. Our approach to counseling focuses on helping you identify how your beliefs, values, and desires (Prov. 4:23; Matt. 6:21; Luke 6:45) express themselves in your emotions, relationships, decision making, and identity.
Our commitment as a church is to offer counseling services to our church members and fellow neighbors in the area. As a church, we are committed to help others glorify God with their thoughts, words, and actions through the community of faith. This is made possible by the redemptive power of Jesus Christ, the conviction and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and the instruction of God’s Word. Your counseling will be biblical, pastoral counseling in which the Scriptures are held as the final authority in all matters. If you are not sure you will be interested in biblical counseling, you will have the option of attending one or two sessions to discover how biblical counseling may help you.
Stephen Ministry is one of the ways that our church cares for people going through tough times. Stephen Ministers are men and women from our congregation who provide one-on-one caring ministry to people experiencing grief, divorce, loneliness, job loss, disappointment, hospitalization, and many other life difficulties. We have a team of Stephen Ministers waiting to listen, talk, and pray with you.

We have a great team of Deacons who serve the Church in several ways both publicly and private. All of our Deacons are men who meet the Biblical Standards laid out in 1 Timothy 3:8-12. These are men who have been ordained by the church and given the opportunity to serve in this role.
