Pledge Sunday

With our direction set to acquire the 4 acres of property adjacent to our Wentzville Campus, Sunday, July 13th marks the next important moment for the people of Waypoint as we host Pledge Sunday. Our goal is $500,000 as an initial deposit of faith towards our debt free approach to this acquisition.

HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:

  1. Pray - Ask the Lord to lead you in wisdom and generosity.
  2. Prepare - Listen for the Spirit and consider how you can fuel the mission and activity of God.
  3. Pledge - Come on July 13th ready to cheerfully support the initiative with your gift or commitment.

Adopt a Teacher

Back to school already? Waypoint’s annual Adopt-a-Teacher is back! This is a great chance to show our local teachers how much we appreciate them. If you'd like to bless a teacher this school year, sign up today!

You’ll be matched with a teacher in mid-July and receive their personalized wish list. Please return all gifts to the church by August 3rd so we can prepare for the teacher luncheons before school begins.

Romania Mission Trip

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to serve across the seas! From October 31 to November 8, 2025, Waypoint will be sending a team to serve alongside our mission partner, IAM (International Access to Missions), in Romania to deliver winter coats to children in underprivileged communities—including public schools and mission churches—while sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. If you're interested in being part of the team, please apply below.

Evangelism Core Class

Sharing your faith doesn't have to be intimidating. One of our mission partners will lead this class using a combination of lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice. Through this, you will learn effective communication strategies, overcome common objections, and gain a deeper understanding of the biblical foundations of evangelism. The class will also provide opportunities for you to share your own story and receive feedback. Whether you are a seasoned evangelist or just starting to explore your role in God's mission, this class will empower you to share the hope of the gospel with others.

Class will be held on Wednesday nights from July 30th - August 20th at 6:15 - 8:00 PM in Room G-102.

Discover Waypoint One-Day

On Saturday, July 26th, from 10:00AM - 1:00PM, Waypoint Church will be offering our 5-week membership class as a one-day event. If you have a regular commitment that has prohibited you from joining our Sunday morning five-week class, this may be a great alternative for you! We will be covering five sessions in three hours requiring a bit of pre-work before attending the class. Lunch will be provided.

Registration will close on July 13th.

The Young Adult Collective is a community of Young Adults, 18-35, committed to connecting with God & one another.

Red Cross Blood Drive | July 15

On July 15th from, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, the Red Cross will be having a blood drive in G-101. This is an open invite if you'd like to participate in donating!

Promotion Sunday

We are excited to promote kids to their new grades, classes, & life groups starting August 17th. Promotion Sunday includes kids turning 3 by July 31, 2026, through 12th grade. So be ready for new adventures!

• Pre-school - 5th grade will be in WayKids. New rooms will be reflected on the children's check-in tags beginning August 17.


• 6-12th grade will be in Student Ministry.

-> MDWK: They attend Midweek all together each Wednesday at The Realm, 6:30-8pm.

-> Life Groups: 6-8th graders meet at The Realm Sundays, 9:30-10:45am. 9-12th graders meet at host homes Sundays, 6:30-8pm.

MomCo

Did you know Waypoint supports a local MomCo group that meets right here at Waypoint? They currently have room for MORE moms! Their MomCo Meetup includes time for honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood, as well as educational sessions featuring speakers, demonstrations, or videos. Plus! There’s always breakfast…that you get to eat without little fingers fighting to have some of it! This group includes moms at ALL stages of life - from birth through college AND mentor moms that are in the grandma stage of life! This group aims to provide a unique opportunity to live on mission to share the good news of Jesus by inviting other moms from the community who are looking for connection and show them the love of Jesus! 6th Grade Signing Day

6th graders, get ready for an EPIC journey—because the next seven years are going to be unforgettable! Waypoint Student Ministry is beyond excited to welcome you into The Realm as the newest squad members. You’ll get to explore your new home with a tour of The Realm, meet the incredible mentors who will be walking alongside you, and jump into the fun with games like 9 Square, Gaga ball, and arcade games. And of course, no celebration is complete without delicious donuts! To top it all off, you’ll make it official by signing your Squad Certificate, marking the beginning of an amazing adventure together. This is just the start of something special, and we can’t wait to see how God moves in your life in the Student Ministry.
