Adopt a Teacher

Through our Adopt a Teacher initiative, you have the unique opportunity to stand in the gap for a local educator by committing to "adopt" them for the upcoming school year. This isn't just about giving gifts—it’s about building a bridge of encouragement and showing Christ’s love in a tangible way. Register below as we aim to adopt all the educators from the 3 local elementary schools in our area.

New Service Time Coming Soon

God is moving in a powerful way at Waypoint Wentzville, and we are making room for more people to encounter Jesus! Starting Sunday, August 23, we are launching a new 8:00 AM service alongside our 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM gatherings as we continue preparing for the growth God is bringing. Our 9:30 AM service is consistently reaching capacity, and because every seat represents a soul, we believe now is the time to create space for more families, more guests, and more life change. Whether you’re an early riser, serve on a team, or simply want to help make room for others, we would love you to prayerfully consider joining us at 8:00 AM. We can’t wait to see what God does next as we Make Room together!

Young At Heart - 8/5

Our senior adults will gather in the chapel for worship, a devotion, entertainment, lunch, and fellowship on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:30 AM. The cost is $10 (cash at the door). To make reservations, please call the church office at (636) 928-9757. Reservations should be made by Sunday, August 2nd.

Missions Opportunity | Romania this Fall

There are two upcoming mission opportunities to serve in Romania this fall. These trips are not organized through Waypoint, but we wanted to make our church family aware of them. If you’re interested or would like more information, please reach out directly to George via the website linked below.

🌞 August 7–15, 2026 | Camp Hope Summer Camp
This trip is all about the kids, but there’s a place for everyone to serve. You can spend your days building relationships with campers—many from underprivileged backgrounds—or jump in behind the scenes to help in the kitchen or with facility upkeep. Whether you’re leading games, serving meals, or supporting the daily flow of camp, you’ll play a meaningful role in creating an unforgettable experience.

🥾 October 30–November 7, 2026 | Boots for Kids Trip
Join us as we travel to schools, churches, and villages to deliver boots to children in need—helping them prepare for the harsh Romanian winter. It’s a powerful, hands-on way to bring both practical help and hope.

Adopt A Teacher

Back to school already? Waypoint’s annual Adopt-a-Teacher is back! This year Waypoint Wentzville will have our first ever Adopt-a-Teacher service opportunity. On August 19th, from 7:30am- 10:00am We will be providing the whole staff of one of our Local schools in Wentzville, a delicious breakfast and coffee bar along with a small gift for each staff member. There are a few different ways that you can sign up to help with this event. Let’s come together to support those who give so much to our kids and community!

Here are ways you can sign up to serve:

  • Filling Gift bags (day before the event 8/18)
  • Set up at the School before the event
  • Bring a cooked dish on the day of the event
  • Serving the breakfast on the morning of the event
  • Serving Coffee and Dirty Soda’s at the event
  • Greeting the Staff and handing out prayer cards
  • Clean up
