WKND Volunteer Signup

Thursday, Feb 15 6PM-8PM | On this team, you'll be responsible for helping our Facilities team clean the Realm and making it 100% ready to go for the start of the conference on Friday. Don't worry, we'll make it a fun night! See Josh Hodge or Rob Cox for detailed instructions when you arrive.

Thursday, Feb 15 6PM-8PM | Assist Jenny Hoffeditz in stuffing bags with everything students and mentors will need to have a great weekend. We will be gathering in the lower level of the Realm (you can come in from the entrance behind the Realm).

Friday, Feb 16 5:30PM-6PM | Assist with cleaning after the mentors have finished eating dinner. You will meet at the Main Campus in the Chapel to wipe down tables, throw away trash, pack away and label leftover food and drink to be stored in fridge in the Grid (G102).

Friday, Feb 16 6PM-7:30PM | You will be responsible for getting students their specific badge and bag for the WKND. Please meet Jessie Lehmann in the lobby of the Main Campus to receive instructions.

Friday, Feb 16 6PM-7:30PM | Volunteers will be responsible for checking students in via iPads and getting any remaining paperwork filled out that they might need. Meet Yvonne Borgna in the lobby of the Main Campus to receive detailed instructions.

Friday, Feb 16 6PM-7:15PM | You will get to be the first smiling faces that welcome students to The WKND 2024! Your energy and excitement will set the tone for our students. We will need 3 greeters at the entrance of the Main Campus and 1 inside directing students to G-101 for luggage drop off/shuttle pickup. Please check in with Yvonne Borgna at the lobby of the Main Campus to receive instructions.

Friday, Feb 16 6PM-7:15PM | You will be on the Main Campus in G-102. Volunteers will assist students with luggage tags and organize luggage by life group/host home as indicated on the luggage tag. See Yvonne Borgna (in the lobby of the Main Campus) to receive instructions.

Friday, Feb 16 6PM-7:15PM | Volunteers will welcome parents and students to the WKND by helping them park and/or direct traffic. Please check in with the Parking team lead in the main lobby/main entrance.

Friday, Feb 16 8:30PM-10PM | Meet at Door 5 of the main campus to help direct life group drivers to their assigned parking spots and help students and mentors find the correct driver for their groups.

Friday, Feb 16 6PM-7:30PM | Volunteer will manage the Waypoint Students Store (main level of the Realm). Merchandise will need to be restocked after your shift. All sales will be made via an iPad. Please park across the street from the Realm and walk over. Detailed instructions will be waiting for you in the store.

Saturday, Feb 17 8:30AM-9:30AM | Smiling and happy faces are needed to welcome students back to the WKND. Meet at the main level of the Realm. Please check in with the team lead to receive instructions.

Saturday, Feb 17 8:30AM-9:30AM | Volunteer will manage the Waypoint Students Store (main level of the Realm). Merchandise will need to be restocked after your shift. All sales will be made via an iPad. Please park across the street from the Realm and walk over. Detailed instructions will be waiting for you inside the store.

Saturday, Feb 17 8:30AM-9:15AM | WKND driver. Check in with Adam Ingle about what the needs will be on Saturday.

Saturday, Feb 17 11AM-1PM | Lunch will need to be set-up, served, and cleaned afterwards in the Chapel at the Main Campus. One volunteer will also go pickup our Grandma Cookie order from Main Street. Please park on the east parking lot closest to the chapel and enter through Door 6. Please check in with the team lead to receive detailed instructions.

Saturday, Feb 17 2PM-5PM | After tons of activities and sessions, we need to setup everything for Dinner and the remainder of the conference! Please park in the Main Campus parking lot closest to door #5 and meet our Josh Hodge or Rob Cox in the open area by G-101/102.

Saturday, Feb 17 2PM-3:30PM | Help setup and refresh snacks at the Main Campus lobby during the snack time the students have in the afternoon. Detailed instructions will be waiting for you at the Cafe.

Saturday, Feb 17 4PM-6PM | Dinner will need to be set-up, served, and cleaned afterwards in the Chapel at the Main Campus. Please park in the parking lot closest to the Chapel and enter through door 6. The team lead will have detailed instructions for you in the Chapel when you arrive.

Saturday, Feb 17 4:30PM-6PM | After a long day of activities, the main campus needs to be set-up and cleaned for Sunday morning services! Please park in the Main Campus parking lot closest to Kohl's and meet Josh Hodge or Rob Cox in the lobby for further instructions.

Sunday, Feb 18 7:30AM-9AM | Students will be bringing their luggage from the WKND with them to church on Sunday Morning. This team will be responsible for gathering luggage in the Chapel and organizing it by luggage tags so parents can easily pick up later. The team lead will have instructions for you in the Chapel when you arrive.

Merchandise will need to be restocked and sorted accordingly. All sales will be made via an iPad. Please check in with Marlene Braun in the Chapel when you arrive to receive detailed instructions.
